LoRa keys the easy way

Use this simple tool to generate throwaway LoRa keys, typically for e.g. Arduino projects during education and PoC demos.

Amount of key sets:

Node name prefix (a number is inserted):

Leading zeros

Activation mode: ABP OTAA

Set only those fields that should be constant in the generated output.

Device ID (DevEUI, 16 hex digits):

Device address (DevAddr, 8 hex digits):

Network session key (NwkSKey, 32 hex digits):

Application session key (AppSKey, 32 hex digits):

Disclaimer

• The Things Network and other services will generate keys for you. Also, off-the-shelf LoRa sensors typically have pre-configured keys. If so, of course use them.
• Please do not use this tool in any form of commercial setting. We do not take responsibility for misuse.
• Generated keys are not stored anywhere, nor checked for duplicates against any registry.
